Woodworking Drill Bits

High-precision tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) boring bits designed for automatic boring machines and CNC centers. Ideal for clean, chip-free drilling in panel-based furniture production.

  • Versatile Range: Includes Brad Point (Blind Hole), V-point (Through Hole), and Hinge Boring Bits.

  • Clean Cutting: Features a “Crown” or “Scoring” edge to prevent edge splintering.

  • Universal Shank: Standard 10mm shank with flat surface, compatible with all major boring machine brands.

  • PTFE Coating: Optional non-stick coating for better chip evacuation and heat resistance.

Our industrial woodworking drill bits are engineered for high-volume furniture production. We specialize in boring bits for CNC and multi-spindle boring machines, ensuring precise hole alignment and flawless edge quality in various wood-based panels.

  • Brad Point Bits (Blind Hole): Designed for dowel holes and shelf pins. The center point and outer spurs ensure a perfectly clean entrance without wandering.

  • V-Point / Through Hole Bits: Specifically ground to drill all the way through the board without blowing out the back side.

  • Hinge Boring Bits: Large diameter bits for European-style hinge cups (35mm), providing a flat-bottom hole.

  • Premium Material: We use ultra-fine micro-grain tungsten carbide from Luxembourg or Germany to extend the tool life by 3-5 times compared to standard steel bits.

Why do your drill bits come in different colors like Black and Red?
The colors represent the rotation direction. Generally, Black is for Right-hand (Clockwise) rotation, and Red/Orange is for Left-hand (Counter-clockwise) rotation. This allows operators to quickly identify the correct bit for multi-spindle machines.
A Brad Point (Blind Hole) bit has outer spurs to cut the fiber at the edge of the hole for a clean entrance but is not meant to go through. A V-Point (Through Hole) bit has a pointed geometry designed to exit the back of the board without causing any “blow-out” or splintering.
Absolutely. Our bits feature specialized carbide grades and scoring edges specifically designed to cut through tough melamine and laminate surfaces without chipping the fragile top layer.
This depends on your machine’s stroke and the depth of the hole required. 57mm is the most common standard for dowel drilling, while 70mm is used when deeper holes or extra clearance is needed in CNC operations.
