Pelletizing Knives & Extrusion Granulator Blades

High-precision pelletizing solutions for plastic compounding, masterbatch production, and biomass granulation. Engineered for consistent pellet geometry and long-lasting sharpness.

  • Uniform Cutting: Ensures identical pellet size for consistent melting or burning times.

  • Heat & Wear Resistance: Specialized alloys designed for high-temperature extrusion environments.

  • Versatile Applications: Ideal for Plastic (PE/PP/PET), Animal Feed, and Biomass (Wood Pellets).

  • System Compatibility: Fits major underwater, water-ring, and strand pelletizing systems.

Our pelletizing knives are the critical final component in your extrusion line. Whether you are producing plastic masterbatch, high-protein animal feed, or renewable biomass pellets, our blades are precision-ground to ensure every grain is cut to the exact same length.

  • Plastic Pelletizing: Specifically designed for underwater and water-ring pelletizers. We use corrosion-resistant steels to withstand constant contact with cooling water.

  • Biomass & Feed Granulation: Heavy-duty blades for wood pellet mills and feed extruders, capable of handling high pressure and abrasive raw materials like sawdust or grain husks.

  • Surface Treatment: We offer mirror-polishing and specialized coatings (like TiN) to prevent “pellet sticking” and reduce friction, which lowers energy consumption.

  • Tight Tolerances: Every blade is manufactured to sub-micron tolerances to ensure perfect alignment with the die plate, preventing “tails” or uneven cuts.

How do I prevent "pellet tails" or uneven cutting?
“Tails” are usually caused by a gap between the blade and the die plate or a dull edge. Our blades are precision-ground for maximum flatness, ensuring a clean “shear cut” against the die plate to eliminate smearing or tails.
Stainless steel is excellent for standard underwater pelletizing due to its corrosion resistance. However, for abrasive materials like glass-filled polymers or biomass, Tungsten Carbide-tipped blades offer a much longer service life and better edge retention.
Yes. We use high-speed steels (HSS) and specialized vacuum heat treatments that allow the blades to maintain their hardness and structural integrity at temperatures up to 300°C.
Absolutely. We can manufacture pelletizer knives in any shape (rectangular, curved, or multi-edge) based on your technical drawings or a sample of your current blade.
